I’d like to introduce you to my business.
My name is Gavin and I am the third generation of my family to run The Colonsay Pantry
A little bit about us…
The Pantry was originally opened in 1988 with my Gran Katy, along with my mother Peggy and my Auntie May. I took over the business in 2010 and now with my partner, James, we hope to continue in my family’s footsteps.
What do we do?
We are a friendly, local restaurant and cafe and we also offer selections of locally sourced gifts on sale. We have a full license allowing us to sell both on and off sales of alcoholic drinks and tobacco products.
Our specialties are local seafood nights, Colonsay honey Locally sourced Beef & Pork, ice cream and local beers and gins. We now have the option of vegan and gluten free meals. Does a member of your party have any special dietary requirements? Let us know and we will endeavour to meet your needs!
Coffee and More
Margaret is my baker and has been with our family since we opened in 1988. If you’re looking for some amazing mouthwatering cakes, then you need to come and see what she has made today because I can guarantee that it will not be there tomorrow. She also has an amazing variety of tray bakes, cheesecakes and much more.
We serve 100% Fairtrade, Organic and Rainforest Alliance certified Caffia Coffee, which is available in a huge range – from the base Americano to a coconut soya Latte Machiatto.
We hope to see you soon, where a warm welcome will await you all.
Where are we?
We’re located 200 yards from the pier on the Hebridean Isle of Colonsay, with amazing views looking out over the local hills and onto the Isle of Jura. Choose to dine Al Fresco, or enjoy the warmth and comfort of our dining room.
